JENELLE BAKER
INTERIOR ARCHITECTURAL SPECIALIST
Initially hired as a Project Designer at Visbeen Architects in 2014, Jenelle Baker now serves as the Interior Architecture Specialist for Vision Interiors. Since 2004, Baker has designed custom luxury homes, six years of which were spent working in Vero Beach, Florida on oceanfront residences along the Atlantic Coast. As an Interior Architecture Specialist, Baker uses innovative 3D architectural software to model built-in interior elements such as bunk beds, libraries, closet shelving, bathroom tile layouts, wood flooring layouts, lighting layouts and trim.
Baker’s life-long passion for architecture led her to Ferris State University where she earned an Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Technology and then to Kendall College of Art and Design where she studied Interior Design. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ferris State University.
Baker is actively involved with the Grand Rapids Alumnae Chapter of Delta Zeta, where she serves as president; and is on the alumnae advisory board for the FSU collegiate chapter of the sorority. As an environmentalist and an avid recycler, she is involved with Friends of Grand Rapids Parks and often volunteers with community park cleanup events.
She currently lives in Grand Rapids with her husband Randy and two young children. Baker enjoys tennis, golf and traveling. Baker relaxes by color coordinating her closet in what she believes to be the ideal rainbow, which starts with black and ends with white. She flourishes in the value of authenticity and in being true to thine own self and has fully embraced her perfectionist identity.
